Washington Baskets delivers across the District, suburban Maryland (Montgomery, Prince George's and Anne Arundel counties) and Northern Virginia, reaching as far south as Fredericksburg and Virginia Beach. There is no same-day delivery: orders placed by 2 p.m. Eastern, Monday to Friday, normally arrive within one to two business days, and the date checkout shows is an estimate that traffic, weather or building security can move. Delivery is free on orders of $100 and above before taxes, for each address. There is no delivery on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day or New Year's Day, and December dates fill early.
Offices and government buildings receive gifts during business hours; homes receive theirs by the end of the delivery day. Where a security desk, mailroom or concierge signs for deliveries, give the company, department, suite or room number, the recipient's phone number and any building access instructions.
