You choose the recipient's delivery date at checkout; the dispatch cut-off and the transit time together decide the earliest one the checker will offer.

Transit to the Washington area follows — one to two business days to a District, Maryland or Virginia address. This store offers no same-day delivery, in the Washington area or anywhere else, so the date the checker gives is the earliest one available.
Is a future date possible?
