Is there anything to pay on top of the price?
The price in US dollars plus delivery (free from $100 per address) and the recipient's state's sales tax, all shown at checkout. Your bank converts the total to euros at its rate; some issuers add a foreign-transaction fee. The recipient pays nothing.
Does the recipient pay anything — customs, duty?
Nothing. The gift is assembled and delivered inside the United States, so there is no customs charge, no duty and no fee at the door.
How late can I order?
Order by 2 p.m. Eastern, which the timing table above gives as 8 p.m. CEST where you are, and the basket is packed and handed to the courier that business day, Monday to Friday. Transit to the Washington area follows — one to two business days to a District, Maryland or Virginia address. This store offers no same-day delivery, in the Washington area or anywhere else, so the date the checker gives is the earliest one available.
Can I order now for next week?
Any later date at checkout — the cut-offs only set the earliest day. The date you choose is the recipient's date in the United States, not yours.
Is the price shown to the recipient?
No. The package carries your name as the sender, the greeting card with your message, and the store's contact details — never your address, your card or the price.
Are alcohol gifts allowed?
Yes, anywhere in the United States — the recipient must be 21+ and show photo ID at the door. Choose a gift without alcohol and no ID is needed.
